Join Chris Bentson and Doug Copple at the 2018 Canadian Association of Orthodontists Annual Conference in Vancouver, BC. They will be presenting two lectures during the event.
Chris Bentson will present an Orthodontic Market Overview. The orthodontic specialty is moving from a historical and well known economic model to a new digital economy model. As this transition takes place, some fundamental business metrics used to measure and manage the orthodontic practice are changing and need to be understood. Concurrent with this economic model change practice modalities, doctor demographics and consumer preferences are also evolving. This presentation will put forth the business data on where the specialty has been, where it is today, and a view of where it is headed.
Doug Copple will discuss the Models of Private and Corporate Ownership. This presentation will review practice modality options available in the market today and the financial and operational considerations of solo, group and corporate practice models. The expansion of group and corporate practices will be also discussed, along with what to consider if you are planning to bring in a partner or sale your practice. Today’s orthodontists have more options than ever in regards to how to operate, who to partner with and how to transition their practice. This presentation will outline the options and considerations for these important decisions.
Just wanted to say thank you for your presentation yesterday. I thought it was great and provided us with a great perspective.
