Doug Copple will be presenting at the 2019 Kansas & Missouri Society of Orthodontists Meeting in Kansas City, MO.
His presentation, Orthodontic Market Overview – Practice Trends and Modalities, will focus on current orthodontic market trends, data and metrics. The orthodontic specialty is moving from a historical and well-known economic model to a new digital economy model with changes in doctor demographics and consumer preferences. As this transition takes place, some fundamental business metrics used to measure and manage the orthodontic practice are changing and will be reviewed. The expansion of group and corporate practices will be also discussed, along with the financial and operational considerations of solo, group, and corporate practice and transition models. Today’s orthodontists have more options than ever in regards to how to operate, who to partner with, and how to transition their practice. This presentation will outline the options and considerations for these important decisions.
