On Monday, May 23 at 1:00pm, Chris Bentson will be presenting, Orthodontic Industry Trends. The entire industry was affected by the pandemic - but we overcame huge obstacles, learned to adapt, and became innovators! The number one lesson learned is orthodontic practices can easily evolve to stay relevant in a rapidly changing marketplace. Not only did the consumer change, but the orthodontic industry itself adapted to the many external forces at work. To remain successful, doctors must not only understand what is happening but recognize why change is occurring. This presentation will focus on current trends, communication methods, direct-to-consumer models, aligners as a treatment modality, and discuss the facts (based on orthodontic industry data) that successful orthodontists need to know regarding the business side of one's practice.
