The President signed the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act – or the “CARES Act” on March 27th, 2020. The CARES Act is the largest stimulus package in the nation’s history, totaling approximately $2.3 trillion to assist individuals and businesses in the U.S. Our team at Bentson Copple & Associates has been reviewing drafts of the Act while it was being presented in the Senate and has continued to review it after the bill was signed into law this past Friday. This is a summary of the sections that are of most importance to our clients and their teams, followed by FAQs related to the CARES Act and FAQs related to Practice Valuations and Transitions.
A bill to provide emergency assistance and health care response for individuals, families, and businesses affected by the 2020 Coronavirus pandemic.
After investigating several transition companies, I chose Bentson Copple & Associates because I felt that they would find the right person to care for my patients and staff after I retired. My instincts were correct; Chris was more interested in finding the best match for my office rather than just selling the practice. I’m very pleased with the candidate he found!
